You're taking directions...from a dog.

To start off:
Name: Aimee
Age: 20
Favorite color: Blue
Pick five words to describe yourself: Introverted, intelligent, creative, loyal, independent
What do you consider your strengths?: Intelligence, creativity, loyalty, sense of humor, determination
What do you consider your weaknesses?: Low self-esteem/social anxiety, stubbornness, bad temper, procrastination
List any talents you have: Writing, singing (so-so), academics in general (though I'm better at some subjects than others, obviously)

This or that questions .. (all of these should have a why at the end of them)
Are you impulsive or do you think things through before you act? I have my impulsive moments, but I think things through about 90% of the time. I like to know what I'm getting into. Impulsiveness usually doesn't have very good consequences for me.
Do you work quickly to get things done or do you take your time and make sure it's done right? Depends on the project. If it's something I enjoy (like writing a story), I want it to be as good as it can possibly be, so I take my time. If it's something I don't enjoy (like the majority of my schoolwork), I usually put it off as long as possible and then do the best job I'm capable of in the time remaining.
Do you prefer to work in a group or by yourself? By myself, definitely. I like doing things my own way, and I'm just a solitary person by nature, so group situations are usually awkward for me.
Are you an optimist or pessimist? Pessimist. I have a hard time seeing any good qualities in myself, especially when I compare myself to other people - it makes me feel like my existence is a pointless waste because everyone else is living a happier, fuller and more exciting life. Pretty depressing, I know. I'm trying to get over it.
Do you stick to your beliefs or are you willing to change them? I'm pretty damn stubborn. My mind is hard to change once it's made up, and I can't stand being wrong. If someone can give me a (very) convincing argument that my beliefs are incorrect, however, I'm willing to (reluctantly) change them.
Leader or follower? Neither. Again, I prefer to work alone. I don't like following orders and I'm too unsure of myself to lead others, though I suppose I'm capable of doing both if forced.
Dreamer or realist? Both. I love fantasizing about distant worlds inhabited by magical creatures, but I know how to live in the real world as well. And I have big goals for myself, but I try to plan towards them realistically.
Friends or family? Argh, nooo! I'll never choose! *sigh* Well, I suppose if the choice is between my family and my less intimate friends (whom I tend to think of more as "acquaintances"), I can say my family comes first because they're the people who raised me and have been there for me every moment of my life, both good and bad. But my best friends are as dear to me as my blood family, so I don't think I could ever make a choice there.
Extroverted or introverted? I'm more outgoing with my friends and family than I am with strangers, but I'm definitely an introvert. I've always had a hard time meeting new people because I tend to worry way too much about what they'll think of me. I think I'm finally beginning to break that habit, though.

Situational ..
Imagine you are Cain. Would you have let Zero live or would you have killed him for the pain he caused you and your family? Why? I'd definitely want him to pay for what he did, but killing him would just be lowering myself to his level and, as Cain said, wouldn't bring Adora back. I thought Cain did the right thing by putting Zero in the suit.
Now imagine you're DG. Upon learning that Tutor had been giving your location away to Azkadelia, what would you have done? Why? I'd want to tell him to get lost, but I suppose I'd keep him around as Toto so he could lead us to Ahamo and I could keep a close eye on him. He'd have to work really hard to earn my trust back after that.

Characters ..
Which is your favorite character? Why? Azkadellia. I sympathized with her above all the other characters. Admittedly, I thought it was a cop-out that she was doing all those evil things because she was possessed at first, but I ended up finding her even more intriguing because of it. I saw a lost and lonely little girl with no one to rely on but the evil witch in her head (and the flying monkeys in her cleavage :p), who wanted desperately to believe her family still loved her despite the way her mind had been twisted against them. She must have felt a tremendous amount of guilt for the crimes she committed under the witch's influence, and it would've been very interesting to see how she went about atoning for them.
After Az, my favorite would be Cain. You have to admire his strength, determination, honor, and love for his family. And I guess I'm just a sucker for characters with angsty pasts. :D
Which character did you like the least? Why? Zero and the old witch for obvious reasons. Tutor because I can't fathom how anyone could sink so low as to betray their supposed loved ones to save their own skin. And the Mystic Man didn't do too much for me - I guess I felt a lot more could've been done with his character.
Which character(s) do you feel you would get along with best? Why? I think Az (post-possession) and I would get along well because, like her, I've often felt like I was alone in the world and not even my family understood what I was going through, and I'd want to help her recover from the possession if I could. Cain and I also have a lot in common; we're both reserved and emotionally withdrawn, but fiercely devoted to our loved ones. Glitch is so funny and eccentric and would undoubtedly be a lot of fun to have around. And DG, I suppose, because she's just a nice, loyal girl.
Which character(s) do you believe you would never be friends with? Why? Tutor. I couldn't be friends with someone who was willing to betray my trust.
Do you have a favorite pairing? Why do you think they would be good together? Nope. I liked Tin Man just fine with no romance (apart from Lavender Eyes and Ahamo), and I'm not one to "ship" just for the sake of shipping.

Random ..
Would you sacrifice yourself for the good of others? Why? If I could do more good by dying than living, yes. Particularly for my friends and family, I wouldn't even hesitate.
What would you say is the biggest obstacle you've overcome? I'm far from overcoming it, but learning to like myself. I want to be happy being me instead of letting my fear and self-doubt rule me. I want to start living my life instead of just letting it pass me by. I think if I accomplish that, it'll be a lot easier to see my dreams coming true.

Anything else you think we should know about you? Nope. It took me a lot longer to fill this thing out than I expected, and I really need to get to bed now. If there's anything else you'd like to know, though, I'd be happy to tell you. :D

Raw :)
*and a high five for the Chakram!*
Glitch mostly for the loner thing. Though there's some DG and Raw too. Maybe the not-so-confidant, where's me brain? side of Glitch, and the "Don't bother me while I'm working!" side.

Tin Man Vote

I'm seeing a bit of Raw mixed with Cain. :D
I'm gonna go with Raw for you.

And yay for Xena! :D
